Winter 2010

As we start out a new year, it's time for reflecting on our past one and it has definately been one of "changes". We were able to bring in new bloodlines. We have opened our eyes to new potential and made goals for ourselves in the new year to come. Unfortunately, it's time to say goodbye to a few does that we originally planned on keeping. It's a very hard decision, but if we want to keep our numbers in check and focus on raising healthy happy animals, we realize that we can't keep them all! We have a few goats for sale on our "sale" page. We have reduced the price for "winter sales". We understand that winter can be a financially tight time for everyone, but if your looking for a few decent gals to start out with or add to your herd, they would be worth taking a look at.

As Always, I cannot say enough about our wonderful mineral mix that originally had been custom made for our herd by Dr. Pete Drehmann, DVM/Nutritionist. Our herd has been on this mix for a year and a half to date. This is a great "general" mineral mix for any breed of goat. I would like to thank Deena Sansone and Roberta Creed of Kaapio Acres for allowing us to bring in some great genetics with a handful of new does and bucks who reside with us now. We are fortunate that we have had this opportunity to purchase these fine animals out of their herd and hope to continue improving ours for years to come.  Thanks Gals!
